About the Author:-
Geetha Desai is currently working as an Additional Professor, Department of Psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS). She has worked in the area of illness behaviors in chronic pain as part of PhD. Her other areas of interest include medically unexplained symptoms, perinatal psychiatry and women's mental health.
Prof Santosh K Chaturvedi has been working in the area of chronic pain and somatization since over three decades. His other areas of interest include consultation liaison psychiatry, psycho oncology and palliative care. He is currently serving as Dean, Behavioral Sciences at the NIMHANS.
